On April 8, fans from around the world can gather virtually to revisit the acclaimed Season 4 premiere, “USS Callister.” The live rewatch will include Easter eggs about the episode as well as a few surprises. Immediately after, viewers will dive deeper into the darkly fun sci-fi story with a Q&A featuring creator and executive producer Charlie Brooker as well as executive producer Jessica Rhoades.

Stick around, because you’ll then be treated to a special sneak peek of Season 7’s sequel episode, “USS Callister: Into Infinity.”

The event kicks off on Tuesday, April 8, at 9:30 a.m. PST, 12:30 p.m. EST, and 5:30 p.m. BST.

So what can fans expect from the upcoming episodes? The new season is “reflective and contemplative,” Brooker said.

“Last season, we ripped up the rule book with episodes like ‘Beyond the Sea,’ which was set in alternative 1969,” Brooker noted. “This season, we visit the past in a couple of episodes, but in a different way. … There are quite a few emotional episodes this time.”

He added, “Technology is still definitely at the forefront, but it’s contemplative.”

Rhoades described Season 7 as a “beautifully reflective season. It speaks to having a life to look back on which is happening to a lot of the characters.”

Stream Black Mirror Season 7 when it premieres April 10, only on Netflix.
