History is filled with famous sleepers, who’ve snoozed their way through earthquakes, Oscars ceremonies, the sinking of the Titanic and even Real Housewives reunions.
But napping during a declaration of love is a feat that belongs solely to Tiffany from Love Is Blind Season 4, who dozes off to the dulcet tones of her potential soulmate, Brett, pouring his heart out. After the two singles form an immediate connection in the pods, Tiffany falls into a seemingly tequila-fueled slumber right as Brett calls her his “perfect match.”

The inopportune nap puts their entire relationship in serious jeopardy, as Brett assumes his potential future wife has abandoned him out of sheer boredom or indifference. But, as Tiffany tells Tudum, neither Brett nor booze is to blame in this far from open-and-shut case of shut-eye.
As it turns out, Tiffany has an extremely well-documented track record of napping at the absolute worst times.
“My friends have a photo album of me called ‘Sleeping Beauty,’ and I have a habit of falling asleep in the most random places,” she says. “I’ve fallen asleep in nightclubs in the VIP section. I’m just like, ‘I’m going to take a little nap here.’ There’s one where I’m in front of a floor-length mirror sitting cross-legged and taking a nap.”
“It is what it is, but it’s how I recharge,” Tiffany adds. “Once I have my nap, I’m good to go.”

As for the night in question, the 36-year-old Seattleite shares that she only fell asleep after a “very long conversation” with her own Prince Charming, who she notes has an unusually “soothing” voice.
“I can’t tell you how many hours we’re talking to the same person,” she says. “By that time, I wasn’t talking to anybody else. It was only Brett. So yeah, it was just a long night.”
“I don’t think I slept at all that night once I woke back up because I was so scared,” she continues. “I was like, ‘I ruined my moment.’ There was this good man right here, and all I had to do was stay awake.”
Given how “it takes a while for Brett to open up,” Tiffany knew she’d have to really make up for it during their next date, which — much to everyone’s relief — ends with him getting down on one knee.
“He doesn’t get to that point easily,” she says. “I’m glad that I was able to create that safe space, but I needed to show up at that time, and I didn’t.”
Rest assured that Brett and Tiffany’s journey continues in Mexico, as they explore life outside the pods. And should they make it down the aisle, here’s to hoping she has a Red Bull handy when it comes time for wedding vows.
