Criminal masterminds working to help others. When you think about it, isn’t that what life’s all about? Take Prison Break, for example: Wentworth Miller plays Michael Scofield, a Chicago structural engineer turned convicted robber who purposely gets himself thrown in prison to save his brother, Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell), who’s on death row for a phony murder charge. After getting a five-year sentence, Michael builds his fluency in the art of escape, buddying up with some of the fiercest inmates in the maximum security prison to — hopefully, one fine day — get the hell out, with his brother in tow. For those who’ve made it through all five seasons and are looking for their next Michael Scofield, here are a few more shows featuring bad dudes with attitudes.

A man called The Professor (Álvaro Morte) builds an eight-person army to rob the Royal Mint of Spain and make out with a mega payday. His plan? Take hostages, lock them in the Royal Mint, and manipulate the police into doing his dirty work. Starring Morte, Úrsula Corberó (Lift), and Itziar Ituño (Berlin), the crime drama Money Heist from Álex Pina (Sky Rojo) took home Best Drama at the International Emmy Awards.

White Collar

In White Collar, smooth criminal Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer) is a con man, a heist guy, a forgery expert … so it’s not surprising he’s doing prison time. But the clock’s almost up, and he’s soon to be free — that is, if he can stay put without escaping. After he fails to do just that in an attempt to win back his girlfriend Kate (Alexandra Daddario), he makes a deal with FBI agent Peter Burke (Tim DeKay): a reduced sentence in exchange for turning in other white collar criminals. Tiffani Thiessen (Alexa & Katie) and Willie Garson (Sex and the City) also star in the procedural from Jeff Eastin (Graceland).
