BEEF Season 2’s Cast Unpacks the Episode Artwork — with Sonny Watching

Leave it to BEEF Season 2 creator Lee Sung Jin — aka Sonny — to turn a behind-the-scenes video into a master class in email etiquette and accountability. Before cameras rolled on the anthology’s anticipated return, Sonny emailed Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, and Charles Melton pages of information about the show. The email broke down the artwork, episode titles, symbolism, and intention behind every frame. Classic Sonny. When it came time to shoot this Tudum exclusive, he showed up ready to  quiz the actors on all of it.

The result? An unscripted, laugh-out-loud video in which the BEEF Season 2 cast is put on the spot in the most delightfully chaotic way. Did they do their homework and actually read those emails? Some did. Some may have missed the notification.

This is the BEEF you fell in love with: thoughtful, hilarious, deeply specific, and powered by a cast with undeniable chemistry. Consider this your latest look at why Season 2 is shaping up to be unmissable.
