The ‘Welcome to Eden’ Trailer Is a VIP Invite You Can’t Turn Down

    Party if you dare.

    April 20, 2022

Coachella FOMO got you down? You’re in luck — we’re handing out blue wristbands to an exclusive party and you’re invited. The trailer for the new Spanish drama Welcome to Eden (Bienvenidos a Edén) is here to give you a sneak peek of what to expect on this trip of a lifetime. After receiving a mysterious text, Zoa joins other social media–savvy teenagers on a secret island for a VIP social event. Hosted by a new energy drink called Blue Eden, the island party is filled with rave lights, all-you-can-drink booze and lots of hot people. It might sound like Fyre Fest, but things take a more sinister turn than the infamous festival.

Red Bull gives you wings, but Blue Eden is one high you wish you could come down from. After waking up the next morning, Zoa and four other attendees realize that they’re no longer in paradise. Trapped in a strange community on the deserted island with no phones, the teens find themselves wearing matching blue and gray tracksuits. If they attempt to escape the island, they’ll be chased after by flying drones. It turns out that Eden is a bloodier destination than they thought it’d be.

Created and written by Joaquín Górriz (Desaparecidos) and Guillermo López Sanchez (Atrapada), the series stars Amaia Aberasturi (Akelarre), Amaia Salamanca (Despite Everything), Belinda Peregrín, Lola Rodríguez (Veneno), Sergio Momo (Elite), Begoña Vargas (High Seas), Ana Mena, Berta Vázquez (Vis a vis), Tomy Aguilera (SKAM Spain), Albert Baró (Serve and Protect), Guillermo Pfening (Foodie Love), Diego Garisa, Dariam Coco and Berta Castañé (Three Days of Christmas).

To prepare yourself for Eden, catch a glimpse of what you can expect on the island with the trailer and photos below. But don’t wait around to pack your suitcase because Welcome to Eden premieres May 6.
