Love was in the air — and in the Top 10 — this week as audiences celebrated Valentine’s Day in style. The Italian getaway La Dolce Villa topped the English films list (19.8 million views), hitting the Top 10 in 90 countries, while Amy Schumer’s Kinda Pregnant followed hot on its heels at No. 2 (13.7 million views). It was also a romantic week on the non-English films list: France’s Honeymoon Crasher hit No. 1 (11.4 million views), and Poland’s Death Before the Wedding landed at No. 2 (4.4 million views).
Season 8 of Love Is Blind emerged from the pods on the English TV list at No. 6 (4 million views). But there was plenty of room for some action-packed counterprogramming. While Cobra Kai never dies, the series’ final episodes crane-kicked their way to No. 2 (5.9 million views) in their first week of release. Since the debut of the Netflix Top 10 in 2021, Cobra Kai has made the Global Top 10 list for 23 weeks and reached the Top 10 in 84 countries.
On the English TV list, Surviving Black Hawk Down took the lead at No. 1 (7.9 million views). Apple Cider Vinegar climbed to No. 3 (5.6 million views), and Season 4 of Sweet Magnolias blossomed at No. 4 (4.5 million views). This week’s installment of WWE Raw roundhoused its way to No. 8 (2.8 million views).
India’s wedding action comedy Dhoom Dhaam hit No. 3 on the non-English films list (4.1 million views), while France’s Ad Vitam climbed another spot on the most popular non-English films list, moving to No. 9 (57 million views). On the English films list, Back in Action kept kicking at No. 6 (5.7 million views), and Aftermath, starring Dylan Sprouse, placed at No. 3 (9.9 million views).
The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep debuted at No. 7 (4.8 million views), and Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt made a typically death-defying appearance with Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning at No. 9 (3.9 million views). On the English TV list, the second seasons of The Night Agent (No. 5, 4.3 million views) and The Recruit (No. 7, 3.3 million views) remained popular.
On the non-English TV list, Sweden’s The Åre Murders remained at No. 1 (10.7 million views). Season 2 of Squid Game continued to show its staying power at No. 8 (2.7 million views), its eighth consecutive week in the Top 10.
And hey now — you’re all clearly Shrek fans, as the first three entries in the classic animated comedy series landed in the top 10 English-language films — Shrek at No. 4 (7 million views), Shrek 2 at No. 5 (6.1 million views), and Shrek the Third at No. 10 (3.6 million views). Get out of his swamp!
