Bullies Beware: A New Action K-Drama Is Ready to Teach You a Lesson

Kim Moo-yul and Lee Sung-min make the principal's office look like paradise.

    May 7, 2026

The action-packed new K-drama Teach You a Lesson feels in many ways like a classic superhero tale: the villains — in this case, school bullies — are wreaking havoc among their victims, students and teachers alike. But there’s no need to call in fantastical beings; the powerful force ready to defeat these villains is the Teachers’ Rights Protection Bureau, a fictional government agency created to protect victims and restore order in various schools whenever students, teachers, or parents cross the line.

In the teaser above, we meet the Bureau’s fearsome team: Na Hwa-jin (Kim Moo-yul) and Choi Gang-seok (Lee Sung-min) — with both actors reuniting with director Hong after their work on Juvenile Justice — along with Im Han-rim (Jin Ki-joo) and Bong Geun-dae (Pyo Ji-hoon). We also learn that these highly-trained officials are using, let’s say, unconventional tactics to stamp out bullying for good. In short? They’re not afraid to fight back. Seriously.

Directed by Hong Jong-chan (Juvenile Justice, Her Private Life) and written by Lee Nam-kyu (Daily Dose of Sunshine), the action-packed series will come to Netflix on June 5.
