The series follows residents in the obstetrics and gynecology department at Jongno Yulje Medical Center. There’s reluctant returning resident Yi-young (Go), whose bluntness regularly gets her into hot water; glamorous Nam-kyung (Shin), who’s having trouble adjusting to the demands of the hospital; former K-pop idol Jae-il (Kang), who’s constantly battling to earn the respect of his colleagues; and Sa-bi (Han), an awkward academic who’s struggling to apply her studies IRL. As these four rookie doctors navigate love, friendships, and patient care, they look to senior resident Ku Do-won (Jung), an unflappable leader who’s always calm under pressure, to help them navigate their first year in professional medicine.

Yes, it’s set in the same world as the series Hospital Playlist.
It takes place in the fictional Jongno Yulje Medical Center’s ob-gyn department. Jongno is a branch of Yulje Hospital, which is featured in Hospital Playlist.
