This autumn, as the leaves die off and the air becomes brisk, you might just be visited by a ghost. James “Ghost” St. Patrick, that is — the lead character in the series Power. The show will premiere on Netflix in November 2026. 

An American crime drama created by Courtney A. Kemp, Power follows Ghost (Omari Hardwick), who seems to be living the dream in New York City. He’s married to Tasha (Naturi Naughton) and owns Truth, one of Manhattan’s hottest new nightclubs. But Ghost has a second life: He’s also the kingpin behind one of the city’s most lucrative drug operations, running things alongside his best friend, Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora). As the club takes off, Ghost starts eyeing an exit from the game entirely, hoping to build something legitimate. But that may prove difficult, especially after reconnecting with his high school sweetheart — and federal prosecutor — Angela Valdes (Lela Loren). 

The series, which concluded its six-season run in 2020, has created several spin-offs since its debut on STARZ in 2014. The franchise also includes the series Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, Power Book IV: Force, and the upcoming prequel Power: Origins.
