Apple TV’s 2026 Canadian Grand Prix is racing its way onto Netflix live. After eight seasons of getting a behind-the-scenes look at Formula 1 through the award-winning documentary series Formula 1: Drive to Survive, Netflix subscribers in the US can now watch a full race weekend unfold in real time, steering fans into the thick of the action. 

And this won’t be a quiet weekend in Montreal. This grand prix is one of the six Sprint weekends on the 2026 calendar, so there are even more qualifying laps to be set and wheel-to-wheel battles to be fought amongst the 22 drivers in the 2026 lineup. The Canadian Grand Prix takes place at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, Quebec, and is one of Formula 1’s most historic races.

What time is the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix?

The FORMULA 1 LENOVO GRAND PRIX DU CANADA 2026 race weekend takes place between Friday, May 22 and Sunday, May 24. Coverage of the following sessions will be available live on Netflix in the US: 

  • Free Practice 1: Friday, May 22 at 9:10 a.m. PT / 12:10 p.m. ET
  • Sprint Qualifying: Friday, May 22 at 1:10 p.m. PT / 4:10 p.m. ET 
  • Sprint: Saturday, May 23 at 8:15 a.m. PT / 11:15 a.m. ET
  • Qualifying: Saturday, May 23 at 12:25 p.m. PT / 3:25 p.m. ET
