The world’s first demon, Muzan Kibutsuji (Greg Chun), has unleashed his greatest trap. After escaping the Demon Slayer Corp in the Season 4 finale of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Muzan retreats to his dimensional fortress: the Infinity Castle. He drags the disparate Demon Slayers with him, trapping them in the seemingly endless labyrinth. In the Season 4 follow-up movie Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle I, now streaming on Netflix, the courageous slayers join forces to track Muzan down. But first, they’ll have to defeat his powerful demonic horde.
The anime film — based on the Infinity Castle arc of Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — features English-dubbed voice talent from Zach Aguilar as Tanjiro Kamado; Abby Trott as Tanjiro’s sister, Nezuko Kamado; Johnny Yong Bosch as Giyu Tomioka; and Channing Tatum as Keizo, Akaza’s former mentor.

Rookie Demon Slayer Tanjiro Kamado (voiced in the English dub by Aguilar) and the Hashira — the highest-ranking members of the Demon Slayer Corp — have been cast into the Infinity Castle. Their revered leader, Kagaya Ubuyashiki (Matthew Mercer), sacrificed himself in the fight against Muzan (Chun), and the powerful Gyomei Himejima (Crispin Freeman) knows that it was Kagaya’s dying wish that his pupils carry out their mission in his place.
The boundless maze is constantly shifting and is filled to the brim with Muzan’s powerful allies. Muzan, whose world-conquering plot requires him to create the first sunlight-resistant demon, has retreated to the castle’s center in an attempt to heal himself ahead of the final showdown. The Demon Slayers are separated and either paired off or left to fend for themselves. The only connection between the heroes and the real world is through Kagaya’s children: Kiriya (Christine Marie Cabanos), Kuina (Ryan Bartley), and Kanata (Mela Lee). With the help of the talking Kasugai crows, the siblings map the ever-shifting castle from the outside world and deliver messages between the corp members. But in order to reunite and team up against Muzan, the fighters will have to take on a menacing collection of lower-tier demons, all of whom present their own unique challenges.
Many of the showdowns are brutal: Shinobu Kocho (Erika Harlacher), wielding her deceased sister’s poisoned sword, does battle with the joyful, soul-consuming demon Doma (Stephen Fu). Zenitsu Agatsuma (Aleks Le) faces off with Kaigaku (Alejandro Saab), his former brother in arms whose betrayal led directly to their beloved master committing seppuku. While Shinobu, Zenitsu, and the others fend off their deadly opponents, young Tanjiro and the aloof Giyu Tomioka (Bosch) are lucky enough to stay together, much to fanboy Tanjiro’s excitement. They reconsider their luck after encountering the demon Akaza (Lucien Dodge). As an Upper Rank Three demon, Akaza is a powerful adversary. He quickly adapts to match the Demon Slayers’ strengths, using the few traumatic memories he has from his time as a human to his advantage. Exhausted and bloodied, Tanjiro is forced to dive deep into his own memories to uncover his true strength. But will it be enough for Tanjiro and his allies to defeat Akaza, kill Muzan, and save the world?
